the-crit is an independent platform dedicated to criticism written by artists. Created by and for artists it will serve as a space where critical engagement with art can expand beyond the limitations of commercial interests and market-driven narratives.

 

Emerging from a pressing need for independent and dynamic criticism, the-crit will provide a space for voices that might otherwise be sidelined in mainstream art discourse. Please get in contact with requests for reviews, commissions or if you're an artist who would like to be a contributor. the-crit is a not-for profit initiative and project initiated and edited by Frank Wasser.  

 

The first review of the-crit will be published February 10th 2025 and follow with a weekly review published every Monday.
